IMCA Clash Invades Santa Maria on Friday Night

Santa Maria Speedway will be under the lights this Friday! That is right, we are returning for an unusual stand alone show on Friday night featuring the second round of the Central California IMCA Clash. The four division, four day, four track series will kick off Thursday night at Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick's Dirt Track at KCRP and travel West. The mini series will then go on to Merced Speedway on Saturday and conclude at Petaluma Speedway on Sunday.

The mini series features IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks. While there is a mini series title and extra money on the line, local points will also be awarded to Modifieds, SportMods and Hobby Stocks.

Going into the event Salinas' Cody Burke holds the IMCA Modified points lead after winning opening night in a dominating fashion. He will be on hand along a multitude of California's most talented drivers in one of the most competitive divisions in the state.

Danny Wagner found Victory Lane on opening night in IMCA SportMod action, holding off local favorite Chad Weber. Wagner currently holds a one point lead in the standings and will look to extend it and take home the $1,000 payday.

IMCA Stock Cars will make a rare appearance on the third-mile clay oval. The talented division has raced across the state this season. Austin VanHoff currently sits atop California points standings.

Atascadero's Skyler Chairez is the current point leader in Hobby Stock action and looks to defend his home turf against incoming competitors. Hobby Stocks will be on the card honoring all track rules across the state allowing for a one of a kind event on the season.

Pit gates will open at 1:00 PM on Friday with fan gates at 4:00 PM. Racing will begin at 6:00 PM. Parking is free for all events in 2025. Pit Passes are $45, Adult General Admission $20, Seniors and Military $18, Kids 11-17 $10, kids 10 and under free. For pre-sale tickets and more information visit www.SantaMariaSpeedway.net
